Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We love this old style Chinese Restaurant - yes it is old and outdated, but that makes it that much better. They have the paper placemats that tell you what animal you are with your birth year....the hot tea is awesome and the food is excellent. Our children love this place - it has become our little hole in the wall favorite!

This place is absolutely wonderful! There's a lot of reviews about how the interior was old and run down, but in my opinion that's how an old fashion Chinese restaurant should look! I was very happy with the amount of food I got, it was all very delicious! Five stars for sure!

An old school Chinese Restaraunt- I can only imagine it has never been redecorated since opening. Either this is important to you or not- your call. In all respects, I feel it is a flashback to what Chinese-American places were like prior to the Asia New Cuisine movement got a foothold in North America. On the positive side- Golden Dragon has quick takeout- and the orders are filled accurately. If there is no street parking, usually there is parking across the street in the strip mall lot.

I can't say enough good things about Golden Dragon. I've been going here since I was a kid and I love it! Granted, I'm white as sour cream so I really don't know whether or not this is "authentic" but I will say that it's tasty, filling, and relatively cheap. We used to get the shrimp fried rice, mongolian beef, eggrolls, egg drop soup, and I think sweet and sour pork. I love this restaurant. It's in such a convenient location and they've been going strong for I'm guessing over twenty years now - don't hesitate to try this place out if you're new to the area and craving some chinese food!

Ok so went for the second time. We walked in at 7:50 and she informed us they close at 9!!! The hot tea tasted like it had soap in it. I asked fo red sweet and sour because I like the egg roll dipped in it. They wouldn't let me have any. They told me they make the sauce each time someone orders sweet and sour. The last time I was there they did give me a small bowl. Can't wait for the meals. Ok the meal was like a plate of mystery meat with jar brown gravy (it was suppose to be garlic beef). Ok def won't be back!!!!

Lousy, lousy, lousy. There is only 1 thing i liked about this place... Our server was nice. But charged 1.50 for soda refills and the glasses are tiny. Luckily it took forever to get a soda refill and only ended up getting one....thank god. We didn't know until the bill came we got charged 1.50 for each 10oz refill. 3 pops, 3 refills came to $10. Ten dollars for 60oz's of fountain pop. This is far from a fine dining establishment where charging for refills is somewhat common. This is a rundown chinese food restaurant. Thats pretty lousy and sneaky at this day and age to charge for refills on fountain pop anyways. Very dim lighting and humid in the restaurant. It was dark actually. I don't think it was for the ambiance. It really had that jungle feel to it. Dark and humid. It struck me as being to cheap to have proper lighting and air conditioning. The chicken tasted reheated and dry. Also the sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard were incredibly watered down. They have those pour jars at the table. They were VERY, VERY liquidly. Not exaggerating in the slightest. U could wash your hands afterwards with the sweet & sour sauce. Not even joking! They wouldn't even be sticky if you did. My tap water at home is thicker than their hot mustard and Sweet & sour. The lady that served us was a nice and sweet ladyb though. About the only good thing about the place. The food was bad. The chicken tasted gross. It was tough and dry. Honestly u can get better Chinese from just about anywhere else. The frozen isle at the grocery store has WAY better Chinese food. We ordered 3 entrees and it came with a tiny bowl of white rice for all three. Not enough for the 4 of us to get but a tablespoon. Thats pretty lousy. So we asked for more, which of course they charged for. Id say atleast a bowl for each entree is about right. If we had ordered 1 entree for take out it would have came with the same amount of rice. Was rather pathetic:(

Fantastic Chinese food! Hasn't changed since I was little. Fried wonton amazing deep fried deliciousness with a hunk of pork in middle. Egg rolls fat, juicy, hits the spot. Have always ordered snow white chicken, chicken kow, and chicken with cashew nut. Amazing place. Will never go anywhere else in the lake county area for Chinese food. Good for carryout.

Not the worst Chinese food but certainly not the best. We tried 5 or 6 dishes and the best dish was probably the Moo Shoo Pork. The fried rice was overcooked and poorly seasoned and the Mongolian beef had barely discernible pieces of beef with an overpowering sauce. The restaurant itself is in dire need of a makeover and the staff look depressed at having to be there.
